This has turned into a big pissing match of who's ***** is bigger and both sides arguing about different scenarios.

I to will agree with Zturd. Diablo I don't think you will be able to touch a 9 sec slip. Mike and I will tell you it is a LOT harder than you think. Most M6 guys that are doing it are around MikeP power level with lots of work done suspension wise.

I don't see you going faster than 10.40 And if you up those jets you will be on borrowed time on that motor.

 

I have built motor bud its not even working hard 175 shot.When I start to hit over 250 thats when you have to make sure everything is on par.

 

None the less, I will have the legal equipment to be able to run, which will be nice because I will be able to make multiple passes on juice and not have to worry about getting kicked out....well until I run that magical 9.99.....like I said it might not happen, but I also think the motor will do just fine, but who knows right, I mean it is an almost 90,xxx mile stock rod bolt, stock oil pump 98 block and it's lasted this long.

 

Ohhh i forgot that was my fault. Since this was our first LS7 we have tuned. I also forgot this isn't a COMMON problem with LS7's. Check this thread out.

Also if it wasn't for me just would have had to pay FULL price to get a new motor. I hooked him up BIG TIME and he knows it. I pulled alot of strings to get him where he is today. The second time around i charged not a PENNY of labor. Show me ANY other shop that would do the same thing. When it broke on the dyno i said i would take care of it and i did.

If he thinks he can get a better tune somewhere else then i have no problem with that.

 

Somebody is getting a little testy very quick. Well for the amount of money he spent the first time around and that was my car. I would not have PAYED a penny to get it fixed for anything

 

Im not getting testy i just dont like when people try to put a story together when they dont know the truth. The first time around? When he took it to someone up by him and got a cam then the motor blew up?

He got an LS7 crate motor for FREE bc of me. I guess he never told you that part.

By the way. I never said the first time was you fault or anyone else's. Nor did I name names. I do know why the car is going somewhere else to get tuned. And that is all I said

I dont know if you would want to hit the track with us we have way to much fun.... And alot of ball busting in great fun....

 

That was a 300 launch that didn't last long ! LOL The motor is a stock cube / 14.0-1 CR & forged internals. Origonal 4l60e tranny beefed up.
