Good track in PA?
Ok, so out of curiosity I ran with street tires up at numidia raceway in PA. Car ran a best of 13.1 at 113.. For some reason that seems ungodly horrible, yes I spin but this should be 12's easy no? I was going to try maple grove instead and see how that track is, what are other fast tracks in pa or tracks that cars actually RUN what they SHOULD RUN.?

Regardless what track you go to you will still spin with street tires but yes your trap speed if one of a 12 sec. capable car. I would grab some slicks or DR's asap and hit a nice track up but in the mean time the DA at Maple Grove or Atco etc. will be better than Numidia due to elevation so that will help as well.

Really? I heard people loved beaver springs though. Some people like maple grove but I hear people are running better times at beaver springs. I want to go this friday somewhere and I just don't know where to. I want to break 12s on street tires before I jump to drag radials which by then I would aim for 11s. I figure anywhere I go I should hit 115 as a trap speed compared to **** numidia and break a 12.

Numbia DA wasn't that much different than Cecil last Friday, doubt it would be enough for you to jump from 113-115 mph especially if you put on slicks or even DRs (size depending). That being said you are low 12 second capable with the mph.
I normally hit Cecil, not sure how far that is from you, but if you go don't waste your time on a Friday, track prep sucks and the turbo'd rotaries oil down the track. Wed are great and not very busy either.

Well im 100miles away, but it says about 2hrs 40min on google maps. I heard cecil is one of the best tracks over here in the nation. I'm not sure how the DA was about the same as numidia, I think in all of street stick class, the only people to break a 13 or below was me and a evo running mid 12s.

I had checked it earlier on the DA calc for something on another forum, it was pretty hot and humid at Cecil early on when I calculated mine, later in the night you are probably right the DA is lower.

Every fast guy I know raves about Numedia's track and the prep they do. My mods are similar to you and I ran a 12.4 @ 113.5 (2.0 60') last time with 17" 275 Sumitomo Z3's on it. Sounds like you're trying to come out of the hole too hard and are just spinning your *** off? I had to come out easy.. "launching" at 2000rpm.

Naw im rolling out and feathering clutch around 2k. I can get out of the hole alright but up top it just breaks loose like a fricken joke. I hook better on the street then numidia. I feel like when I go into 2nd im doing a burnout and have to let off and almost skip the entire gear. It just doesn't make sense that numidia I hook less then I do on a street

i race at BSD just about every friday. with the track improvements they made over winter the bump in the right lane is gone. track prep has gotten better.
if track prep is garbage as some say then these guys would not be able to do this...
besides, people are nice and helpful. at Numedia you will get bitched at cause you park in some guys spot. even though there is no name on it
