Default Great deal on racing jack at Harbor Freight...

Just letting everyone know, picked up a real nice lightweight aluminum 1.5 ton racing jack at Harbor Freight today (in Reading) There was a $50 off coupon in the reading eagle paper over the weekend in the HF circular. Check your Sunday paper see if they have the ad. Got this jack for only $69

Its very light, weighs just 25 lbs and breaks down quick to throw in the trunk. Works very well, nice little jack for taking to the track.

Yeah, its a nice little piece, looks to be pretty well constructed too. I just tried it out, put it under the rear center section and it lifted it up pretty fast. I have a 5 ton craftsman jack for the garage, its a beast though. I would probably just use this at the track. It was a great deal for only $69

Hmm that stinks. They offered a 2 year warranty for $20 more, I didnt get it, maybe that would have been a good idea though. Comes with a 90 day warranty. I wont be using it for working at the house so hopefully it will hold up for some occasional track use.

How high does it lift? I want to get an aluminum jack but it's seems like they are either $$$ or only lift about 14", I'd like about 20" of lift.

14 3/4" according to their specs. It picked the rear up on the car a good couple inches without much effort. They had bigger ones just like it but this was the only one $50 off.

Thumbs up

I have one as well and have been using it as my main home jack for over a year now, it's held up well so hopefully it's not quite as bad as some of the typical 'Made in China' tools that HF sells LOL.

I used one this weekend, it was ok. All of them look sick when you pump it the first time but def took its time getting the front of a trans am up. I have a old school iron jack and that thing has never failed and always did the job.

I know, most of the stuff in that place just screams made in china, I always see there ads but had never been to their store. For the price I just had to go check this out. I was pretty impressed with the look and feel of the thing. As long as it doesn't break it looks like a great deal.

i got one last year with the LEDs. best of all... the reason i got it was because (at the time) was the lowest profile one on the market. i had the vette with a flat rear tire and had 1-3/4" to work with. this one was the only one to fit under...
