New garage buddy, Diesel So my brother has pure breed Rottweilers and she had pups back in March. Deb & I went up when they were three weeks old and picked ours out.
Turns out he is alittle bruiser, last Thurs. they took the pups in for the final round of shots, all the pups weighed 12-14lbs, mine was 20lb. My brother's male is 170lb & the female is 130lb. So mine is goin to be a big dog.

yea, Fran you missed the boat. Just watch Belack Rottweiler's Facebook page. They said that they are goin to do it again. Probally next year this time.

lol Just don't bring him to my house... He'll never leave but I'll send pictures of him as he grows... When we were deciding on a breed Rotties were on my short list(Akita, Rottie, German Shepard) ...I had to lie to my wife and tell her Akitas don't get over 80lbs

Deb had the bright idea to take Diesel w/ to a bible study group last night. The ppl she goes w/ are our age, have a female lab/mix.
Deb said she was mortified because 5 mins in, Diesel is humping the crap outta their dog and wouldn't leave the dog alone.

I'll be looking for a dog here soon...rots just get a little too big for me. Pitbull is the right size but i dont want one. I will probably look for a mix. I like german shepards as well. I want a mean looking dog whatever it be. I have a perfect yard for one...i just can't decide on which breed i want.

congrats on the rottie. looking at your pics reminds me of my boy. get ready for the razor blades puppies call teeth. here's one of "chevy". he's 170lb also

I like when they have those big wide heads. Seen alot w/ a lab shaped head and really don't like them.
Was really leaning to get a Doberman before I found out my brother's dog was goin to have pups. So glad I waited and got the Rottie.

rotties make a great pet. they are very loyal and love to please. the first year can be rough but it's worth it in the end. your pup looks just like mine when he was young. he's gonna be beautiful for sure
