Default need car advise

Hello everyone, I have a large delema on my hands. I need a second vehicle with awd. Currently I have the ws6 in my Sig. Here are the options I am currently thinking of.
1) keep the ws6. And buy a 2001 legacy gt cash. = no payment lots of extra cash to mod my ws6.
2) keep the ws6. And finance a 08 Audi a4 2.0t = some cash to mod but modding will take much longer. And with a few Audi mods I can have a quick dd and take my time building my ws6.

3) sell my ws6 get a loan for a 05ish cts-v and get the 01 legacy gt for a mileage/bad weather car. = I really want a maggie -v in a bad way.

I'm leaning much harder to option 2 or 3 than 1.
So, what do you all think? I thought about polling this, but idk how...
Thanks everyone for your input
Bruce

How far is your commute? TBSS makes a fun AWD vehicle.

If I'm limited to those options I'm going with 1 (ws6 and subi and NO payments)

If you own a home or plan to own one soon a small suv or truck wouldn't be bad either.

I'd go with option 1 as well. No payments FTW

I am a mgr at the 99. Right now I commute 20 mins each way. But in a month, who knows... I am being transferred in march. Not sure where, all I know is it will be within 50miles of my house in seekonk. I really want an mpg machine with awd that gets close to 30mpg and runs cheap gas.(unless I get the Audi) and, so I'm not putting a ton of miles on my ls.... Maybe you guys are right and option 1 is my best bet. It definitely makes the most sense... I just hate that my ws6 is a auto... If it was a stick, this post wouldn't exist...

Another option is to get the Subaru and trade the ws6 in for a g8.

An LGT runs premium gas pretty sure, and they won't see anything near 30. I would reconsider.

No cheap AWD car will come close to 30mpg.
I agree with everyone else on option 1. Not owing anyone is a great thing.

#1 if I have to pick from those.

I'd say find a cheap 4x4 Pickup or SUV and keep the WS6, at least until you can afford the V.

The 01 lgt according to cars.com runs on reg fuel and gets 21-22 city, and 27-28 highway. Close enough to 30 for me lol.

Buy the legacy gt. Sell the Ws6 because you said you hate that its an auto. Buy another f-body with a stick. Problem solved. You get your DD, and you get your 6 speed Trans am and you don't have payments.

I'd go option 3 if you're not worried about loans. If money is an issue go otpion 1 for sure!!

What about a 6speed swap in my ws6? Inhave read about many of them and it seems a little out of my league but nothing I don't think in could accomplish with another more skilled set of hands.... Or would it be smarter just to sell mine and buy a 6speed? The only reason I like the swap idea is I know my car. I know what is wrong with it and what isn't we wrong. I know it hasn't been beat on at all in its life.... Selling to buy another seems a little risky to me. What do you all think?

Option 3 is probably my favorite idea. But with option 2 I could get a g35x instead of a a4... I like to ride in luxury. The subie is loaded too... And of all said cars, id rather put my dog(boxer) in the subie... Lol

If you want a cheap AWD car, just get a regular Legacy. I know people who have the 2.5, and it gets closer to 20mpg, while sucking down premo fuel. Just get the 2.2, less issues with those as well.

Use this site: http://www.fueleconomy.gov

Cars.com has the numbers listed from when the car was new. The numbers were revised a few years ago, and dropped the ratings of most cars to make them more realistic.

Also I apologize, I forgot 2001 was before the turbo legacy GT.
