my friend got the ceramic pacesetters and TSP Y pipe with cats. nice pieces so i suspect their true dual will be nice too. x pipe with 18 inch bullets should sound very nice. i use 1 18 inch bullet before my cutout and love the deep tone (as opposed to cutout without bullet). get it and give us a sound clip

The coating on the Pacesetters is decent but if I had it all over again I wouldnt of bought them.

Kooks if the only route I would take now and they are the only header I would suggest.

Oh, and by the way, if your doing any power mods past an air lid with the true duals, you'll be ripping them off. They're fine on a stock car but thats about it.

If you plan on keeping your car, don't bother with Pacesetter's or true dual.Kook's and a cutout in the Y-pipe.

Just like most things.. You get what you pay for.

The TSP true dual system is good, but I'd reconsider the headers...

VERY loud on a stock car, with a cam you will get stopped for the sound sooner or later no matter where you live. Another reason is they dump before the axle so at lights you'll have the smell of gas dumping into your car. It's not too nice when your driving around your lady or who ever and the car is so loud you cant talk to each other, the drone gives you a headache and you smell exhaust at every stop. They're made for the person who just drives to the track then parks the car for the rest of the year.

Kooks are stainless, they'll last longer than something ceramic coated. The y-pipe gets the smell to the catback and the electronic cut-out gives you noise and good flow when you want it.

You could always run the duals out the back. Which is what I am going to do.

I had lanes true duals with magnaflows and dynomax bullets switched them to dynomax after a while, it was ungodly on my car with the d1 and built motor. I sold it to griffin and it was great on his car until he did his cam, didnt take him about a month before he bought my old magnaflow off me And for the record heres his words "I love it loud, it wont bother me abit" Dont say we didnt warn you

yup, those were my words. i did love the loudness. and with the cam the car sounded great. but after a week, it was just way too much. not to mention the hassles from cops. and as joe said, it really sux sitting at a stop light and all you can smell is gas fumes dumping into the car. so as said, true duals are great for someone who isnt going to do much motor work, or for those that hardly ever drive it on the street. so here's another vote for offroad y-pipe with a cutout. you'll be much happier in the end.

Any of you have a reason why Kooks are superior to QTPs?

running a search reveals that all LTs have been tested to flow about the same. So what is wrong with the Pacesetters?
