exaust in PA?

exaust in PA? this might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if there's anything wrong with having a loud exaust in PA? some type of law a cop could legitiately pull me over for having a loud exaust? my exaust is in my sig, (LT's, cats, and a GMMG cat back), and its LOUD as ****. i dont think so.... i took it for its inspection and the garage didnt say anything to me about it, and i know there is other v8 cars driving around with loud exausts, not to mention all the ricer's driving around with exaust that are loud hell (n sound like weed wackers....). just curious though if anyone knows.
I think like most other states its a 95db limit.
depending on your area it might be a tack on ticket or if the cops are jerks around you they'll go after you for it.

Yes, you can get harassed but it usually depends on if you're revving the crap out of the car or just driving it decent. I've never been stopped and I've got a dump, which would be louder than your car.
mine wounds like hell coming down the road. Ive only gotten harressed once. the cop actually looked under my car with a flashlight and asked where my cats were lol As for state law in pa. the exhaust must exit in the stock place and I believe 96deb. or less
Just don't be stupid. If you leave the house in the morning, do so at low throttle and shift it early as not to **** off neighbors who would then call the cops and complain.
If you're at a traffic light, look around for cops before busting a 6k full throttle launch and power shift.
When you get pulled over, pull over quickly and shut off the car. When you start it back up to leave, leave like you're at a funeral and not wanting to draw attention. The right peddle should be your best friend for controlling the sound volume.

I do remember a story that someone in the PA state legislature was trying to introduce a bill to restrict car owners from changing their exhausts to something louder than stock or changing the exhaust at all. I don't think that was passed nor do I believe anyone really cared except for the old fogey's in the state congress who didn't like the annoying import exhausts.

With a question like that there's only one place to get an answer-call or go down to the state police barracks.They're usually nice and they know the laws in pa.The state inspection laws/rules may even be online.Local police can't bitch with a statey behind ya. The same with window tint. Screw the locals(cops) they're J O's anyway
