Go with the 30 yard. When it's there, you realize how easy it is to throw out stuff. We've been remodiling for a few years now and have had 3, 30 yard and 2, 20 yard dumpsters. Lots of old junk got throw out in the remodle.

Were you able to find prices cheaper than the ones I have listed?

My stepfather is an architect so we got a deal from a contractor. But those prices kinda sound right.

Generally the price includes that... you guys pay alot more down there than we do up here... And it also depends what you fill them up with... If we have them delivered to a job and we fill them up with 75% metals... steel, tin, cast iron... it's basically free...

Long Island prices for cans (thats hat we call them) are as follows:

10 yard--$350
20 yard--$550
30 yard--$750

All prices included drop of and pick up. You have a weight limit, if you go over it, then they will charge you accordingly over that amount.

Buttaball the 20 Yard includes 4 Tons and the 30 Yard includes 5 Tons of stuff. Last year when I got my 1st dumpster we filled it up to the white line on the side that says do no over fill past this line. The guy was very cool when the guy came to pick the dumpster up and saw that I had lots more to put into it. He told me he was going to grab a coffee and to toss all that other stuff on. I called all my friends (1) and we overfilled the thing. I tossed him a $20 for helping me out. 3 Days later I received a bill for $176 weight over limit fee. It was a 30 Yard, and we stripped off my roof (2 layers) so it weighed a lot.

I used a trick, its called CASH.,,. I called 1 dumpster place and told them I had a dumpster lined up for $525 cash. A friend told me that you may be able to beat that. They sent me over a Dumpster in 2 hours for $500.

I was happy. I hope that helps Buttaball.

Prices sound about right. They'll probably say you went over the limit even though you won't and charge you xtra on the credit card you have to give them. Biggest friggin' scam going. I haven't had one for myself in a while but I've had to arrange for a few of them for customers and the always get banged for xtra.
