best place to buy a forged fi shortblock
price,quality,i know a lot are selling them just trying to find the best deal,and get a good motor. just looking for a budget build so im assuming its going to be a 346 shortblock

I'm thinking his core is junk, because he was looking for a pan also. Just a guess
try ebay get the parts put it together that is the cheapest way to go

crank forged 800
forged rods 400
pistons forged 400
If your buget is tight that's what I would do. plus there are people selling forged blocks that only have forged pistons so if your looking for a forged crank you should ask how much of the block is forged. A forged block to me means: crank, pistons and rods.

I would imagine that is they can make a stock block and stock cranked 346ci motor run 8s in a TT car for over two seasons without any problem, they could make you an FI shortblock that will work well for a long time!

Is the block trashed? Do you hae any parts that are salvageable? I have a stock shortblock that might be able to be rebuilt, it's got a groove in the #5, but with a slight overbore it may be o.k. Crank is fine too.... PM me if it's something you might need/be intrested in.

East side does all my motors!
A+ for them. they have alot of high HP motors running. turbo cars, SC cars, head cam cars, and some of the fastest Nitrous cars in the country!!
