Default SVO or Lucas 42lb Injectors??

As the title says. .. . I have two sets of injectors, both with about 3000 miles on them! I will be using one set and selling the other!

Is one brand better than the other?? I am thinking stay with the Green tops and sell the blue tops? Although, the blue would match the car better

I'm confident they're both pretty much the same! Any opinions?

Cool thanks for replying!

I guess this was the wrong section to post in, whereas no one has any input for the passed few threads I have started! Search works well, but when you only find so much, a new thread is made. . . Heh, that's what I have done here!

Any further opinions?

Many folks claim that the SVO injectors are easier to tune.

I don't know what the lucas ones are rated at fuel pressure wise, but the ford ones are rated at a lower fuel pressure then we run in our cars... so they have the potential to be able to supply more fuel then the lucas ones, depending on what t they are rated for.

Its not so much the brand but rather who makes the injector. I am still used to my LT1 (Gen 1 and Gen 2 SBC) and 2 major manufactures are Bosch and Delphi and Racetronix used a Delphi injector, and SVO, Accell, SLP, etc etc used Bosch. There were distinct differences between the 2.

As for GEN III/IV I would find out who actually makes them, not what brand is slapped on the product.

Matter's what you are ussing them for.

NA- neither, sell both and buy SVO 30's,only if it is a decent H/C.Stock works fine to 400rwhp.
Supercharger-again neither,sell and buy 60's.

Dry Nitrous- SVO 42's.
