Talking Dieso -The begining

Took Dieso's 100% stock 02 A4 Z28 to the dyno today. It has 3.23 gears and no mods at all.Made 290hp/317tq Did a quick tune to see the difference on a stock car and made 297hp/327tq with big increases between 3-4.5krpm.

Now it's time for stage 1 of the car which includes a healthy stall,Kook headers, exhaust, air lid, ported TB.

Wow I can't even remember when my car was stock . I would love to get my hands on a bone stock F-Body. All I would do is a mile cam and headers/ exhaust. Plus a 12 bolt with 4.10 gears

one of the cars we did, 98 ta, heavy *** car, ls6 intake, air lid, hand ported t-body, mac mid lenght headers, shitty flowmaster muffle |(stock cat back. stall, and tune. car went 12.2|@ 109-111 all day long. probably about 15 times in a row. its the *****!!!!
best way to doit. 11's easy in a decent setup, and drive it all day every day, anyplace, stock sound, ect ect.

almost made me want to get an auto f-body inplace of my z06

This car will be a daily driver setup.I can control the stall to lockup good for daily driving.Too bad the track is closed because I'm sure low 12's high 11's can be easilly done with this stage 1 setup. Stage 2 will do the Cam,EWP,possibly 90mm intake and hopefully some better gears with a SD tune.We are shooting for low 11's,possible high 10's with a Cam only setup. We'll see

BTW-this car has 11,800 miles on it

With enough weight out that is possible.

That will make a big difference. Ninja's car has headers, small stall and a 224 Cam-he ran consistant 11.7 at 116mph in his 98 car that made 360hp.

Too bad the tracks are closed. I would like to have seen what the car would do after the tune.

Warren - Your car and Ninja's were the reason I wanted to get an auto. They seem really efficent at the track. You almost broke into the 11's with next to nothing for mod's.

We'll see how the 4,000 stall and all of the other toys make the car move Like Don said, I want to drive this car around all day everyday and not worry about it. Something that I can spend more time detailing than wrenching on but still stay ahead of mostly anything I run across on the street.

10's would be nice hahaha

So far we remove everything from the top of the motor, the manifolds, y-pipe, plugs, coil packs, tranny, stall, tranny valve body and driveshaft in something like 2 hours unless I'm wrong. Don moves at a normal pace but he touches something for a second and it's out of the car. We are still waiting on a package so it might not be done this weekend

Sounds like a solid plan! Hell, it's going to be faster than my GTO with a lot less modding!! Can't wait to see the final product!!

That plan sounds very familiar. Should run real nice on such a fresh car. Joe your gonna love the stall. It will make your street tires useless from a dig. you will love having no dead spots no matter what speed you punch it. good luck with it.

Joe, you will love the A4 and its consistency, although when you've stalled it up, it won't be as "controlable" on the street as the M6 cars are. Pay some attention to the rear suspension and you'll get mid-1.60's sixty ft. times easily....something the m6 guys only dream about w/a 10 bolt, ha ha. One other thing--just don't stall too high on the converter. My Vig 3200 was perfect for a stock motor. (my opinion only) WJ

The only time a A4 sucks is races from a rolls, that bout it. Your track days will be uber consistant and faster then a equally modded stick car. I went from A4-m6, what was I thinking...
