Jimmy2times, PM me and let me know what you'd want for 3 quarts shipped to me in 22315.
GoldenBird, looks like we're pretty much twins... although I don't know what ya got under the hood.
It's just that there are NO standalone autozone's around me, unless I want to drive 50 minutes north to Glen Burnie, MD where I get my tuning done b/c that's the only place I found it.

Whenever I see the GC at my local stores, I clean them out. I must have 90 to 100 quarts of it stacked in my garage.
I veiw it just like the ammo for my AR-15 and AR-10's. Buy it cheap, and stack it deep! You never know when it will become unavailable.

That depends on your definition of "hurt". I don't think I said it would hurt anything by using a different oil, but it certainly wouldn't help. I'm looking for longevity here, not convenience. By using less than the best (commercially available) grade of oils, I could in fact hurt my engine in terms of it not lasting as long as it could have with a higher grade oil. I just care a little bit about my engine that has $4k in the shortblock assmembly alone. So, I'd rather use oil that is proven to retain viscosity far beyond each 3k oil change interval as well as come out clean when it does get removed... not to mention the increased oil pressure without having to run a 10w-50 oil to get the same results.

Plus the pretty green color that the oil has... who wants to go ruining that by mixing in a quart of the "brown" stuff!

Get the Amsoil version.. http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/tso.aspx
Become "preferred customer" and get dealer prices, too.

In my experience every stand-alone 'Zone has it. It's the smaller, strip-mall types that don't.
