Default check out my cage by DRVETTE!!!

Last month I gave my car to mike (DRVETTE) to have my 6pt cage installed while I was on vacation. First off, the work is beyond top notch. Welds are incredible and I couldnt be happier with the service, and knowledge I recieved. He went beyond anything I could of asked. Even painted the entire cage for me. Here are some pics.

BTW I am in the process of changing the interior from tan leather to ebony.

the rear bars were made by Mike. It is a wolf craft cage. They orig went next to the rear strut mounts but mike made these bars himself.

Yes but is that legal?

Why not just have them terminate into 6x6 plates next to the speakers [not through the speakers]? Less tubing is less weight. LOL

they have the plates. I like this way better. I dont see why it wouldn't be legal.

Hey guys thanks for the nice comments on the job, the rear bars according to wolfraccraft are supposed to go to the wheel well area near the speakers, im sorry but that has to be the most unsafe place to mount bars, theres no real structure there to support it, and i called wolfracecraft and told them how long the rear bars were that were in the kit and they instucted me to put them there in the back if they were not going to be in the way of anything, and that they would be in a stronger area down at the frame area. So its definetlly legal and stronger, otherwise the bars are exactlly were they want them. Im glad your happy with the results too, that goes a long way with me, i appreciate that, thanks.

I know. I was all ready to cut the back seats up but they fit like a glove.

I wasn't really ever plannign on reinstalling my rear seats.... but with teh weight I will most likly save with the LW carpet, I might do it. Plus it would be alot easier to put the carpet in if I didn't have to mess with putting it where the seats go... have to see though.

Not that I'd EVER put anyone back there again once the rollbar's welded in.. that's just asking for a lawsuit if anything were to ever happen.
