Default Will this make my truck look White Trash?

I'm told I should look into a hood with heat extractors to remove some of the heat from the turbo. I've looked around online and there aren't many options. The one below has ram air and heat extractors. I think this would work well. wifey said, "no way. That would make your truck look white trash".

what do you all think?

maybe someone can photoshop it onto my sig pic. that would be sweeeet.

I'm also looking at the keystone restyling "iroc" hood. but it doesn't have heat extractors, just ram air. probably not worth it.

I think a big cowl hood would look better IMO but I dunno if they have any with heat extractors or if it would provide any extra cooling...JMO

Make sure you dont loose underhood clearence over the stock hood. Underneath that hood might be ducting and such.
I dont know if you turbo setup (or parts of it) sit higher but it might be something to look into.

hmm, i was just looking at it again. it kinda looks like the ram air part is lower than the stock hood. i'm not ready to buy yet anyway so i have some time to figure it out.

Do they sell a cowl hood? Matts hood looks real good and lets the air out nicely.

Heres a pic of a cowl hood on a GMC

He's a local Body man if you want to check it out.
