Next Track Day? Who, Where and When?
#21
My GTP held up on 13-14lbs of boost and a 50 shot, on stock bottom end. Then it blew up when the meth pump let go. I know the 3.8 in the camaro is higher compression, but Im not sure how much people put through them for spray, as I really dont care enough to check around.

Stop being girls and just go I use to go up there by myself alot.Works pretty good since no one is there to bother you and you can get into the zone.

Ha Ha.. Yes sir! I was hoping sooner than over a month away... Friday night may be a possibility if I can find DRs to use to just drive up on instead of trucking up the slicks, since my truck won't be making the trip without a driver! Besides gas for two vehicles is getting crazy....

I'm in! Don't expect anything compared to what the rest of 'em do. I plan street tires and leave off @ IDLE and granny shifting
Now for my list of excuses why I shouldn't
1) My rear will blow leaving anything above idle (would you trust a GM-warranty-rebuilt 10-bolt... I thought so)
2) Car will be down for final power increase
3) My rear will blow (for emphasis) - I live 2.5 hours from the track if the car breaks... last time I blew it was at LVD and the 200 mile tow sucked

I really need the seat time more than shooting for great #'s . That's why I'm in and besides it's FUN running through the gears. I rarely get a chance to go above 3k rpms where I'm at.
