Default I've gone "Plum Crazy"..

SRT 8 in Plum Crazy..

I now need a car for work, and I'm almost finished with the lease on my F-150.. so I wanted a car, that will double as a work/fun/family car.

It's either this (maybe red) -or- this.. Pontiac G-8.

I remeber when I was real little when my Dad had a lime Green Cuda. It was a cool car back then. Wish I had that car today. It would be worth a mint to the crazy Mopar people.

Thumbs up

I really like both cars so that's a tough choice, I think the SRT-8 is a little faster than an automatic G8 GT will be though but the G8 will be a little cheaper base price.

I'd heard that the base price on a G8 GT (base 6.0L L76 V8?) would be just under $30k though I'm doubting that info...it could be under $32k though before options (if there are any).
The 6 cylinder model should be much cheaper than that and of course the later arriving GXP version will be a bit more.

Me either, and lime green as well?
Bringing back the old classic Mopar muscle car colors is a BRILLIANT marketing move, if they do that with the Challenger as well (they likely will) they won't be able to build enough of them.

They are both nice cars but I think I would go towards the G8. How long do you have until your lease on your truck ends?

I can turn it in at any time (I'm past the milage) and it was a one-payment lease.

I'd like to know when the G8's will be available...
