Sean, they fill nitrous at VMP too... if you needed to fill up its right there... I know I will have to for that day. one 10# bottle will get me about 4-5 good runs before it starts petering out...

Im good for about 12-14 runs out of my bottle before she starts loosing pressure.... Ive really impressed with how it holds pressure during runs.... Now I just need to buy my 2nd one and be done with it!

It might be something you can fix yourself. If it is a threaded fitting then unscrew it, removed the hose, tape the hose tightly an inch or two behind the area you want removed, cut hose, installed hose on to fitting and then tighten and leak check. If it is not a threaded fitting let me know and I will hook it up. I do hydraulics for my day job.

I know they usually fill up, but will they be open for the rental? I dont remember if everything is open like a actual event or if somethings are closed....

Hey Darren, a set of ported 5.3s and a good cam would net you some low 11's.... once the tranny is fixed of course.... You have the tires and gears out back for it.

I don't think it is **** wrong with the tranny. Like brian said, some adjustment on shift points is needed maybe even raise line pressue a bit and it will be fine.

Its also pretty interesting that darren picked up almost a half second from a set of gears

I think we were 1 each (first run I was on my street tires vice DR's) then my clutch SC **** the bed on our 3rd run together, it was stuck in 2nd after the burnout. But his best that day was .09 quicker I do believe I had him covered all day in the MPH department. Then again I was lifting the heads too. But it's all good now a bit mo HP and a nice jump of tq now the heads are staying where they belong and baby got some new track shoes Next time I take it to the track should be interesting Guess I should sign up for the rental and put this issue to rest for the winter.

Before you fix it, slide some fuel line over it to protect it, then put the fitting back on it.
