I'm going to have a new one put in and the whole assembly balanced just to make sure everything kosher in there.

it started doing this the day after our trip to MIR. its gotten progressively worse since then...
You should strongly consider putting a driveshaft loop on that truck also. I'm glad you found your problem before some real damage happened Ben.

I've seriously been thinking about that the past few months. That rear driveshaft has been chunked out of it 3 times already and is a little dinged up. So its getting trued and rebalanced. I know its not hard to do but I'll have to fab up a loop out of some steel strap. They dont make a bolt in strap from what I can tell like they do for you guys' cars. Once I get home and have access to my plasma cutter and welder and a ton of metal suppliers I'll have loops on both the front and rear sections of my driveshaft.

-You gotta PM too Mike

Ok, I'm not getting any respones in my thread so I will hijack this one for a moment. Guys, I need an alarm installed on my new Tahoe. Where is a reputable shop or installer that you know of? Being pretty new to this area I need help in where to go/not to go. I will also need advice on exhaust shop. I plan on redoing the exhaust soon. Thanks in advance and feel free to pm or email me. Silvermado has already helped me a tad.

well I got the truck back and drove it a little. everything looks good so far, no unusual vibes that werent there before and the U joint that he put in looks a little better... so far, so good....

Mike, I'll be getting with you tomorrow sometime man. I just need to get this one hose end straight for this weekend

on a better note, I got a few kills on the way home tonight, gotta love the cooler air, this thing felt strong tonight. I embarassed a Monte Carlo SS (older, 350 turd) and a Trailblazer SS, Young guy, Summit white TBSS, he said it had intake and exhaust. Nice truck it looked really nice from my rearview... and then a black lightning... he never saw it coming. I owned his *** from 45 on up to about 90... he never saw it coming LOL... the blower sounded a litttle louder than stock but still sounded like an Eaton, maybe ported? pullied? and it definitely had exhaust. Either way, he was cool about getting his *** kicked by the paw-paw truck...
