I agree there...... 98's suck if your ever going to go any kind of FI.

I dont agree on the Auto's being for girls though....

A real man puts aside the "its a girl thing"" and knows he can go almost a second faster with an Auto....

haha!! thought you would enjoy that sig!

...and its a v6 auto car i picked up for $600. needs a hood and drivers headlight cover and needs the front bumper repainted.

Plan is to gut it and build a strip only race car with a big inch LSX.

Jason,

The vette will be completed before anything is bought for this car. I just couldnt pass it up for the price.

Good luck, you may have a daunting task in front of you. Converting a V6 car to a V8 isn't as easy as it sounds... Should be sweet if you can pull it off.

Everyone told me that would be the easy way to hit a number I rather do it my way and prove them wrong. So you think it would be a 8 second car with an auto? But then I couldn't drive over to BPS via Suffolk on Saturdays

I've got a spare Fireturd hood What color is your console?

A lot of cubes and great heads, nothing with a GM casting number on them and then call a couple of places to get a recommendation on the cam.

By the way, there are no innocent victims, they all asked for it.

If my car makes it back in the garage this week still running, i may get that hood from you...i tried to get this one looking decent today...but no dice! lol

The console is gm's attemp at dark grey i guess.

...oh this tired six banger struggled to break the tire loose on the wet driveway...sad.

How about the hood for anything you don't want out of the interior like the console, etc..... I can use the console. We can work out way to get the hood to you. How are the speakers, I know someone that need them.

So far i have the rear seat, rear belts, spare tire, and the jack out.

The speakers are good, the radio seems to be good, the console lid is a little rough. But i guess you could use your lid.

...and are there any small console's out there that just cover up the shifter area?
