My car definitely isn't a race car, full weight + 5 point bar and 12 bolt rear.
At first I thought I was going to be dissapointed with the torque numbers too, but let me tell you this thing is a handfull from first to third gear. I really couldn't be happier.

400-450 ft/lbs of TQ from 3300 rpms to the shift point of 6800 rpms.

Like they say in RoboCop- "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

still its not that high mines makes 400 @ 3k and peaks 517 @ 4500 and hits back to 400 @ 6700. just a genral question of why its not making tq it could be setup just to make high hp #s if thats the goal. idk all in the package i guess

I agree with Mike. We would have like to see the higher peak TQ but the car really zooms around. I love being able to drive down the road in a 550rwhp, 900 rpms @ 35mph street car.

Yes street car. Mike does enjoy the race track so we did build it a little in mind for the strip, but we wanted something that will take mike's street beating also. He puts a good amount of miles on the car on the street so its definitely not a trailer queen!

Alex: I think Mike would pass out if he saw the 10.1. I'd love to see those numbers but with the weight it might be a little optimistic. We're aiming for high 10's with a good MPH and Mike will be satisfied. Yes november 30th it's coming out.

Moose: Full weight minus back seats, spare tire, front swaybar, drag rims (at track only, normally on heavy *** zr1s)... But add in the 5-point chrome moly TTP rollbar and that throws in another 65ish. Still has full a/c, stereo, heat, this is a street car

Mike also I'll get back in contact with you trying to setup with jay maybe the 24th will confirm asap.

With that pwr a high 10 is not out of the question, the thing that will be key is it being a stick car, how it leaves, and how hard it's pushed. If it's pushed to the limit, it will see a 10 second pass I am sure of it. Will it run a 10 leaving easy and granny shifting it no, but drive it hard, and it should happen.

Matt, is atco going to prep the whole way to the 1/4 on the 30th? Reason I ask, is if it'e really really cold and if the wind picks up some it may get a little hairy at the top end if it's not... I dunno what the standard procedure is for a rental there, but I've been to a couple that did and some that didn't and at this time of year and later, it can get a little risky to try to take a real fast car (like sonic snake's car) down a track that's not 100% prepped.

Lemme know.

Yes for all of our rentals we pay for the extra prep. They are taking care of us this time last time the prep was ok at best. I will definitely make sure it's sticky enough for the higher powered cars. We have a few single digit cars for this rental

Push it hard enough and those 30 spline axles are going to say

Good luck on the 30th. It might not even be that cold. Last year I had a rental day in December and it was 70F. You never know. Im sure the lane will be prepped.

Its been pushed real hard by Mike before. The 30 spline axles have enough strength to handle the power, as long as its applied properly.
