New Car Show, W. Melbourne, Fl. I-95
EDIT(4/25/2009): There will be no show. They approved it, but before there can be a show I must sign an agreement. In the 6 page agreement it says I will be held responsible for any damages that may occur; I must also have a $3,000,000 insurance policy that also has workers comp.. Obviously I will not be purchasing insurance or signing this agreement. So there will be no show as of now. I do have a city council member calling Monday to see if something can be worked out. So if I'm able to get permission I will post up. Would have been a great place to meet.
EDIT: I haven't heard back from him yet, believe he is out of town, but you can assume the first show will start May 2nd around 6:00 p.m.. If for some odd reason he says no, highly doubt it, I will post immediately. If someone is a member on other boards that you know has members that would like to go, please post this up there. Please post up the boards you post on so people know which boards have this post to avoid duplicate threads. Thanks and see everyone there that comes, will post a new thread that week as a reminder.
I should have confirmation tomorrow (4/16) if we're for sure allowed to meet for a show.
I'm looking to get a new show started the first Saturday of every month. There was a new mall/shopping center built over winter that opened April 1st with a Five Guy's that went in on the corner of the mall. The lighting is real good and the parking spaces are wide and laid out nice. Its located right off of 95 at exit 176, can see from 95. With it being right off 95, I think it will a great location even for those within a few exits. Also will be great since there's a Target, Kohl's, and many other shopping stores your girlfriend/wife can go to if they wanted to come along.
It's located in West Melbourne Fl. on Palm Bay Road, exit 176. Parking is shown below circled in red. Five Guy's is there to the right of the parking on the corner.
Post up if you are interested. I have a group that I know will show up. I believe we could get 75 - 100+ cars there easy for the first time. Once/If I receive confirmation, If there's anyone that's a member on CamaroZ28 and the CorvetteForum that could post this up there, I'd appreciate it. I'm going to post it up on ZO6Vette.com. You don't have to have a Chevy, Mustangs can come and anyone else that wants to. NO RICERS!!!! They always get everyone kicked out.
Any questions email me at slpcamaro29@yahoo.com or just reply to the post. Once I hear back from the owner with an okay, hopefully, I will post up the best driving directions for those who aren't familiar with the area. Best to stay off Palm Bay Rd.

I'm down. If you get 75 cars in Melbourne to show up I will be shocked. Melbourne/Palm Bay seems to have a huge amount of car people, but nobody ever drives their cars or hangs out.

I edited my first post. Unless I hear otherwise, you can assume we're good to go. I will post up driving directions for those who need them. Main thing is to avoid Palm Bay Rd. Invite as many people as you know who would like to come. See everyone there, Thanks.
