Best Oil for FL?
Full synthetic oil handles the heat. 40w is a good compromise. Mobil 1 is what I run in every gas motor I have. 0 problems. If spending money on top dollar oil makes you feel better, Royal Purple it is. Most major brands, including Castrol is good quality in my opinion. Again, synthetics are where the best heat protection is.

We carry Amsoil. It a great product. German Catrol is also good from what the big boys say....

for this reason I wouldnt run 40W in winter.
I also went to supertech synthetic from Mobil1.
my 97 still gets dino Valvoline(rear main leaks).

Dont use that crap anymore. I started using it in all the cars and I started getting top-end lifter noise from hell upon cold start up in several vehicles. I vowed to never buy that again. With Pennzoil Platinum the motors have gone back to being quiet.
