Default We finished up Armando's formula build... Pics and idle video inside

Just finished up a build with my buddy Armando(TripleWhite96) on his 1999 turbo Formula. The car was running a TC78 on a stock LS1 motor with a MAF setup on 5lbs

Well, this week we added a EPP FI cam (232/240 .595/.608 115lsa) LS6 intake, 317 heads with LS9 MLS head gaskets, UD pulley, LS2 timing set, LS7 lifters, and TSP 7.4 Pushrods. It's going to Masport on Friday for the tune which will be getting changed to SD. Looking forward to see what she does at the track....

the smoking wouldn't have been that bad, if any, if Chris didnt power a 1/4 quart of oil on the exhaust wrap..lol

Can't wait to get it tuned it's reading extremely lean ATM

He doesn't ever drive the car during the day so it's not that bad.
I don't have AC in my car either and it doesn't bother me.

ah okay. Im trying to figure, out how to do FMIC without removing ac and relocating Power steering. I think C6 manifolds are the way to go.

I still have my AC,
My crossmember is notched and downpipe goes under it. My buddy, who made the kit now has his going between passenger apron and motor, using custom motor mounts.

My kit is made to retain the AC. The same person that built your kit maxgee built mine. I had my radiator stood up and even kept condenser. I took it out during the cam swap because 1. it was bothering me it was in the way . 2. the line to the upper port on thecondensor was not reaching and I would have to stretch it out to fit and since I never use it I yanked it. I never drove the car with AC anyhow so it doesnt phase me

NO A/C FTW! I have never had a car with A/C but since apparently the A/C in my Trans Am works pretty well, I think I am going to keep it for now... We will see how much I use it with the T-tops and all.... lol..
