Anyone going to Lakeland Dragstrip tonight? Should be awesome weather, going to run my car stock with a lid. The guy that had it before me said it ran an 8.4x when it was cold so I'm hoping for some good times. Tim.

It's actually pretty good now. I just got back, on street tires bone stock I didn't spin much launching at 1200 rpm's. Ran an 8.6xx at 86mph. On Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays the prep it nice. But I hear it's shitty on Friday. I don't know though, never been. Tim.

I got there late tonight and only got 1 run but that track is hooking great. I ran a bad *** looking Vega and ran a 1.40 60' on my M/T dragradials and stayed with him all the way but lost by about 3 feet. There were alot of real fast cars running the brackets, I guess alot of racers go to Lakeland instead of OSW these days.

I remember the black TA. We were there with our Banshee the green one and watching our friend race a Firehawk. You guys sure make me miss my TA. She should be finished in about another week. Lakeland has been hooking for awhile now. We just have to spread the word. My best 60 ft at Lakeland is a 1.433.

Yeah, we ran. Did you get any better times? Your T/A is beautiful btw. I ran a turboed fox body mootang, it was dead even all the way down, but he pulled at the end and ran a 8.2. Then I ran a guy in a Blue 03 Cobra, I treed him and he ran an 9.4x. I won't be racin' out there for a while though, at least not until I pay the car off and start modding. wmskateteam, do you have any pics of your car?

thanks, yea i got some pictures I haven't figured out how to put them in my profile thing yet, but I'll try to get them later. LS1Queen yeah I remember that banshee that thing is pretty crazy. My best on the night was the 8.9 I didn't launch any more than like 2200 because I am already scared enough of all the clunking from the rear. I was out there sunday for the nostalgic event and i was talkin to the guy with the black z, with drag radials and yellow emblems, he blew his rear up sat night, so he's rebuilding that. Yeah i don't plan on going to lakeland anymore and beating it out there until I get some money together. But i wanna run up to orlando on a wed night just to see how it runs in the 1/4. do any of yous hang out at the publix, books a million, k-mart? i'm from winter haven but i drive over to lakeland every now and then and while all my friends drive rice, that's mostly all i ever see out there.

We went to books a million a few months ago and found out they moved it to the Publix. We went there and no one was there rained earlier and no one showed. I am hoping we go after the TA is up and running. I want to be at Lakeland next Thursday in her. Not for sure yet things aren't going as planed. Just my luck

I'll be back in town the week of Thanksgiving. If you guys wanna hook up and all drive out to orlando or bradenton. I would love to see what I run in the quarter. Let me know what you guys think. Tim.

If you guys have been to books a million or publix theres a silver cobra that is running his mouth about my car. I believe his name is Matt. Our friend Jeff in the silver Z raced him cause we was in Ga. for the Wicked ATV event. If you race him please beat him. Be carefull I was told he runs about a 150 to a 200 shot. I was told today We might have to wait till Jeremy gets back after the 11th to have her tuned. That means I have to be a spectator just a little longer.

Hey Ls1queen, I bought my car from Jim. He said that he knew you guys. Well anyways, he said that he got a cam from that guy Jeff with the silver z, but didn't know the specs. Is there anyway you can ask that guy for me? Also I got another friend with an 01ss that wants to go out there sometime near Thanksgiving. So we should all get some more people and go out there. And I won't be beatin on any Cobra's for a few months. Tim.

Well if yous let me know, I will head over to lakeland on a sat night or whatever to hang out. I always hang out with a bunch of guys in winter haven at the publix on cypress gardens blvd, if any of you live in this area. and ls1queen I've seen your car run it hooks and runs real nice
