Today was the First anuel jacksonville car show and meet, and i have to say it was a HUGE success! We had over 30 cars show, Ranging from a late 70's Trans Am to a Brand new C6 ZO6 to a widebody Mazda RX7 (FB) with a 383 SB in it. The weather was beautiful and the cars just as nice. I promised a video but my camera is bing a peace of ****, so i'll keep working on that, but everyone, Thank you for comming and making this meet as great as it was. I was reading some interest in making this a once a month thing how does everyone feel about that? I wouldnt mind meeting at bufflows once a month getting some lunch. heck we could even do a photo shoot there in the big parking lot. It was cool with the ls1 club written on the bufflows sign. All the cars were nice. Marks car was making me drool along with the z06's.

once a month would be a good idea, i had alot of fun...i had to leave around 3 though....

 

I showed up at 12:30 in my C6 looking for you GTO guys, didn't see any of the normal crew there.

 

Yeah I got their about 12:30 also, but I had to leave a 1:30. Good turn out tho.

 

We were there. Actually there were a few new faces other then Paul (Oak200) But I didnt see you. We stayed at Buffalos till 300 I got there at 1200.

 

+1 for once a month or maybe every other month... Just, more often than once a year. I didn't even get to meet up yesterday. Ran into some problems and got a late start, then didn't know where to go. Checked buffalos even though nobody was there (some mustangs were there). I asked a couple people about the meet and if they might have heard where you guys were heading... no luck. Found some guys I knew around 5 that told me everybody had gone to cecil field but it was about over. If it was just me, sorrry but, just thought it'd be nice to have a plan of action for the day next time so, anyone in this situation knows right where to go to find the group. That, of I just need to get some phone numbers.

 

Nice to meet everyone and we would love to get together more often. Al and I were talking about how nice it was to meet a group of people who didn't think that they had to do burnouts or race every second to hang out with.

we did have a plan of meeting up 12-3 and it went that way. after 3 the plan was to cruise to either the bud plant or cecil so we went to cecil. The people there didnt even ask us what we were doing there no problems at all.

 

when i went out there before no one payed atten. to me and it looks like yall found some good spots, itd be nice if we could get on the runway.....but the plane makes good picks

 

I agree about the once a month thing! That works out great so that we can all keep in touch and maybe pick a different place to meet next time where they will hopefully have better service, because out waiter sucked!

 

My waitress wasnt too bad, food came out at a reasonable time but yea we could go to different spots that wouldnt be a bad idea either. Or we could see if we can get some type of group discount if its a once and a month thing.
