What is wrong with it? I have done them for $900 to $1200. It all depends on the parts needed. I can do it in a day if no other parts are needed. I just did one saturday for under $1200, complete rebuild parts and labor. I think we met on the power tour, I drove the collector's edition TA.

One of 2 things, either the shift fork is bent or the syncro struts broke for the 3-4. It is possible that the third speed gear may need to be replaced if this has been going on long enough.

I recommend this guy. Mark did my tranny rebuild and clutch install all on last saturday, and I am impressed with his speed and skill. The car is a dream to drive now!

Again, Thanks Mark!

not exactly what I wanted but beggers can't be choosers and I can't complain. I didn't get as much back from insurance as I thought I was going too. Parents found the car and helped me out with it (to pay for it). I think they were tired of me driving a rental car. I'm excited to have it, just don't know if I want to keep in long term or not. It does need a tranny rebuild tho!
