Good LS1/Corvette Tuners in NE FL?

Good LS1/Corvette Tuners in NE FL? Hello,
I am in need of some help, i keep getting turned down by shops for the work i want done on my C5.
I am needing heads/cam/longtubes/fast 90/90 installed and of course a tune, 1 shop wont do vettes becouse you have to pull the steering rack, and ive been turned away by 2 other shops because they will not install parts that were not purchased from them.
I am in Jacksonville, but i will travel up 2 hours or so away if i have to to get this done by a good shop, please if you have any leads fill me in!

JFormato's coming to Orlando to Corvette Masters next weekend I believe, which is within your 2-hour range. IMHO, the closer you stay to Jac, the better. You'll likely have to go back to finish off the tune if you drive the car around and decide you need shiftpoints, shift firmness, idle, etc. changed.
From what folks are saying, this guy Doc is probably your best bet. I don't know anyone else who is a good tuner in Jacksonville. Good luck.

there are a few good tuners here.....BUT they try to sell you things you dont need and if you dont know some of them well they'll give you a cookie cutter tune and not really get into it.....

Jeremy comes to Gainesville somewhat often. He usually does his tuning at Rollins Automotive -- who I'm pretty sure would do the mechanical work on the car as well.

DOC tuned mine as well and it runs much better than my old MTi tune I got from Houston. My car is slightly a "freak" but it only got faster after he got ahold of it and we tuned it at the track.

Try Mike at Mike Norris Performance in orlando worth the trip

he just did a quick tune on my bolt on car, Man it runs so much better. And he took the time to show me everything that was going on with the car as well. Hit up doc you wont regret it.
