Default Got cought in the rain today and car started bucking...

I was driving from work and all the sudden the ******* sky just took a big **** on us. After a while of driving, the car started bucking..
I would hold it at 1k RPMs just to move forward slowly and it would just buck as if a I had a big *** cam without a tune in there.
I finally pulled up to my apartment without incident and gave the car a nice 3-4k rev thinking that maybe the lid swallowed a bit too much water. needless to say, it got better.

Anyone know what else might have caused this?

Default The sky

Yeah the sky just pissed on me here at home, nasty lightning as well, makes me glad my vette stays in the garage while my ford product gets crapped on

I didn't get any SES lights. So you guys are saying they just got wet? If so, they should be fine when they dry? I hope.

Same thing has happened to me and my o2's had dropped out. I have two A/F gauges so I could see what bank went out. If you still have problems after it dry's out have somebody scan your car, the bad o2 senser will show full rich and won't move around. I had to replace mine.

Same thing happened to me a couple years ago, except I had to push my car 1/2 mile home in the rain. Turned out my 3 month old POS elite sparkplug wires arc like crazy in the rain, to the point where the car wouldn't run. None of them were burn either, just the biggest pos's ever.

I drove the car this morning and it was doing it a little, but after about 2 miles or so of driving it started acting normal. So it's all good.

I wouldn't be satisfied with it going away as it surely will show up at the most inoppertune time and place. I'll scan your car for free.

Mine did the same and it was the 02's. Next time you are under your car check all the connections, and make sure they are all sealed.
