I will second that. Why destroy an OEM wheel. 30 years from now that wheel will be worth a fortune and be sought after.

buy aftermarket set. I paid 600 dollars back in the day from an OEM replacement company here in FL. got 4 full triple chromed oem style zr1s for my red ls1 ta when i had that.

I have often thought abot how bad-*** some 10-spoke SS wheels would look if they were wider in the rear, didn't know it could be done though.

I had a pair of chrome SS 10-spokes skinnied by Weldcraft.
Looks like good work, though I still haven't got the tires on
them. I'm sure they'd widen them too. But I figure the MTs
on the other, other pair are enough to break a 10-bolt without
going fatter.

Shipping cost me nearly as much as the shop time. They will
give you a price quote over the Internet.

hmm i'll have to look into that . Thanks for the posts... If anyone knows of anyone somewhat "local" that would be even better... rather drop them off in person rather then ship them. if somethere were to happen to them it would be a fortune to replace , along with the hassle.
