Everything looks great! Just curious though, how did you route that feed through the wheel well?
It also makes it drip oil on the header when you get rid of that pastic extension if you have any blowby

The line just goes up where the fender bolts on the bottom to a 45* degree fitting to a bulkhead fitting. When you take the inner fender off its pretty obvious where the line should go.

Na, I'm pinked out after the last few times, its fun but too much waiting around for me.. I will probably go to the NMCA race in Charlotte though.

Exactly why I got rid of my breather and went with vented catch cans

To me keeping that ugly piece of plastic was a lot easier (and lighter) than vented catch cans

I had too much blow by, it was soaking the entire engine bay. Now I haven't seen anything from either of the breathers.

I think it looks better with that ugly piece of plastic. Mine is exactly the same.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Just referring to it as has been referred to, with just a touch of sarcasm.

It was nice to take the radiator cap off this morning and see the coolant all the way to the top and not smelling like exhaust, if I can keep myself under control hopefully it will stay like that for a while. Going to put some new tires on it next week and that should help more than anything right now..
Thanks for the compliment Kevin, it's coming along pretty good. About got the new motor broke in now, really looking forward to seeing how good it's going to do. What's this "keep myself under control" stuff? What fun is that?

I couldnt resist, even though going through a single 3" muffler was nice and quiet I knew it was killing the top end power. So I threw together a new exhaaust, 3" Y-pipe into a flowmaster 3" to 4" merge into a single 4' muffler.

Worked out as expected, took it out last night and ran 6.09 @ 116 with a 1.375 60' in not so great weather (3500' DA) after tweaking the tune a little. Thats the good news, bad news is the 60lb injectors are about done. I may try the new motoron 79lb high impedance injectors but for now the injectors are whats limiting the whole thing. 6.09 in the 1/8 is 9.50-9.60 or so in the 1/4 and thats right where I want to be, one of these days I should switch to a SD tune but I may just do a BS3.

Still need to work on the 60 foot a little, should be in the low 1.3s but thats all in the tune right now. Few passes from yesterday:

The exhaust looks good. I couldn't get the video to work. Is it much louder then the 3" you had?

Its quite a bit louder, I liked the quietness of the 3" but it sounded like a car with a bad catalytic converter on it hissing down the track and it had to be costing some power. Over 6500 it felt like it was dropping off pretty bad..

Dont know why the vid doesnt work, works fine here and on my laptop.

I'll hit Bristol one of these days now that they are doing regular test and tunes once in a while. I'd be happy to just get in the 9s there in the summer..

6.09 @ 116 1/8 mile at 3500 DA for your new combination (car) is really good! You'll have it in the 5's in the 1/8 with better weather. Bob

Yea, I'm sure it will get in the 5s in better weather, that will be a few months though. I'll have to get to a 1/4 mile track one of these days before it gets super hot out.

It will be a while, its getting warm out so the 60s will do, but when it cools off I'll have to step up to the new 79s.

Weight lol, the blower/intercooler + battery is still in the front. When I get the off-idle rich spike tuned out it should be in the low 1.30s and not leave much different.
