Was going to go yo the NMCA race in Bowling Green this weekend and get some 1/4 mile times but the weather looked crap, decided to visit my parents in Chicago and since the weather looked good figured I'd drag the car along to Byron dragway.
It ran exactly what I though it would 10.05 @ 134 with a spark plug wire off (oops), 9.63 @ 140 (foot brake) and 9.55 @ 141 with a 1.335 60 foot (2 step/trans brake set @ 2800 rpm). It was super crowded so I packed it up after 3 passes, my goal was a 9.5x, could have probbaly got in the 40s leaving a little harder off the trand brake but I didnt want to wait another 2 hours to make another pass - especially being 700 miles from home.
Pretty nasty cross wind but the DA was a reasonable 1500 feet, that was on 50/50 93 pump and VP unleaded 109. The D1SC had 7.25/3.7 pulleys, peaked right at 14psi. I'm very happy how its running, I still have a bunch or weight I can remove and with a 3.4 pulley + bigger injectors and some better weather it will be a 9.20 car. But honestly I like it just how it is so I'll leave it for a while..

M9 is OK, on the plus side its light, torque arm clears everything nice. On the minus side I dont know who thought it was a good idea to put the vent on the top RH side of the housing, I had to rig something up to stop it from spaying gear oil out of the vent every pass and it still leaks. I dont know why they took the vent off the axle tube, never had an issue there. That and the TH400 crossmember setup with that funky trans mount adapter plate is pretty silly, not to mention I had to make a 1" thick shim to raise the trans up to get close to right driveline angle, they should make a dedicated TH400 crossmember instead of trying to make 4l60 one work. Arent you glad you asked ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

The glide crossmember is fine since its made for a glide, I assume they make this one to fit a 4L60 and they give you an adapter plate to make it work with a M6/TH400. Which is fine except a TH400 needs to be spaced up quite a but over a T56 and they didnt take that into consideration I guess. IMO it would be better to just make a crossmember for a TH400. Its a decent piece overall though and its about 35lbs lighter than what I used on the last car and didnt really cost any more than a regular 9" housing, aftermarket torque arm and TH400 relocation crossmember.

Maybe yours in a different spot, I used the little bronze vent they gave me and I knew that was going to leak where the vent is located. Not a really big issue just a few drops after a couple passes, I used a different style vent and moved it a little higher with an elbow, still seeps a little after a few passes but nothing makes it to the ground at least.

I'm leaving it just like it is, if I dont race it I can drive it and wax it lol. Injectors are maxed out, if I decide to go faster then I'll do a BS3, but once I do that its 8.50 cage, chute, relocated battery etc and if I wanted to all that I should have just kept the last one.
Besides I picked up one of these the other day, not sure what I'm going to do with it but its an awesome car. I wanted one since they came out and so far I love it..

I'll leave it stock, plenty fun as-is, may do some different mufflers and a CAI since ts WAY too quiet. I had it up in the mountains the other day and was pretty impressed how it handled for a 4000lb car.
My wife loves the thing, surprised yours doesnt like it.
