Are you going to do the LS1 lid conversion too since you have an LS engine, it would look nice

a turbo mod would not utilize the lid...


OP i have gotten a bit of flack about weighing the options of powerplants and my feeling is it's still GM hell even ford boys are doin the same:
way easier tunning,more power to be made due to head design plus a few other ways. this is not disrespect to the Lt1 this is makin me happy on my dime

Looking good Jerry. I got the 4L60e in with the Circle D converter and it feels great a lot more responsive than the TH400 it was cold and damp out so I couldn't get on it to hard.

Yeah....just picked up another block....it's in the works. I would like to do what T UNIT has done and get a LS based engine but this car will stay LT1 to the end.

some updates...

--still waiting on parts to come in. Got the ls6 intake manifold with aeromotive fuel rails, 60lb injectors, stock ported TB. Also a little pimp factor, we pulled out the top tube and tapped it so i can run my boost gauge off of it. So no extra bungs welded on the turbo piping and i made use of that hole...

--Yella Terra shaft mounted 1.8 rockers

--Custom one-off aluminum th350/lsx crossmember made by Eric@midwest chassis

--Stock style sumped aluminum gas tank which will have a aeromotive A1000 pump feeding the 60lb injectors. I should have enough fuel for anything i put in there..

got my heads done today. 317 heads with Patroit extreme springs and ti. hardware. Nothing too special but the springs have a ton of seat pressure to hold back the boost.
