to go from 8 to 10 is a extra 2 grand. right now i need that extra 2g's to get the car together. then in about 2 years ill finish up the cage. im only shootin for low 10s right now anyways so ill be good.

no, i remember telling the woman "after this one part its DONE!" lol Said that bout a dozen times. I should have the motor done this weekend and will post pics when finished. Car should be back from Burkhart next week hopefully as well.

Heres pics of the motor. stock longblock with everything cleaned up really good and back together with main/head studs and rod bolts. Should hold it all together really well. Stock 317 heads with the extreme springs from Patroit, rollmaster chain, TSP oil pump, vic jr intake, block was baked and cleaned, new cam bearings and all new seals.

2 GRAND?

Wow...That's weird he has killer prices on 8-point bars but the price skyrockets to go to a 10 point.

Most good fabricators charge 2-2300 for a COMPLETE chromemoly 10 pointer. I wonder why he charges so much more?

he does a lot more then just put bars in. He adds the crossbar under the dash which i know a lot of other 10pts dont put in. He also puts the bars sooo close to the firewall he actually cuts away a little metal to incorperate the bars into the car. Puts in the window netting brackets, seat brace and harness bars. Basically goes ALL OUT. IMO its a little much to do so much fab work on the front bars on how he welds it into the car but its not my shop. So its all the custom fab work and extra labor you pay for.

I guess... The 8 point is a killer price...I want to take him up on it but I've never seen any of his work. Do you have any pics?
