How much power will a 408ci with twin Precision 67mm make? Will there be any turbo lag? What comp should I build the motor to? The kit I found with this set up the turbos are in the engine bay and I belive it is a GMR kit. Is this kit any good?

Lag will be not worth talking about, and depending on the hot side I would guess around 1150-1200fwhp.

1000rwhp ****!! That is "BREAKING ****" hp levels. It is a GMR TT kit. I see that they are not in business anymore. Why? Is this kit good? Does anybody have this kit and if so did you have any problems? What power did you make? Do you lose the AC?

We've made 1,150+rwhp with 408's and twin 66's on many occasions with our custom turbo systems.

I don't know any specifics of the GMR turbo system to know if it would be capable of comparable numbers or not.

Hey.I had deposit on the gmr kit and never got it ,lost 2000 bucks. Guy did get one not sure how many other ones they shipped out not many. The kit loses the air conditioning it seemed to me ,starting to forget already. And there could be problems with the manifolds cracking might want to rig up some kind of braces for them.
So really not many people can tell you much about the gmr kits. It looked nice and I was looking forward to getting mine.

I got the aps kit a year or so later. At least aps shipped and ahead of schedule. Main bitch with my aps kit is its pain if you do need to take off turbo after they are installed and you have to use aftermarket k member. And I have to take off one of my turbos for sure.

I found a guy who has this kit for $4500. Is that a good price? Do you think the kit will produce power? Is something like this streetable?

That kit performed pretty good they were working on relocating a smaller A/C unit up top, but Leo and the other guy at GMR couldn't keep the shop going etc.... As far as longevitey??? Twin Logs that look identical to the TTI street kit on both sides basicly. The price is well what ever you feel it is worth for the parts you are getting etc...I don't know what to tell you there GL.

I thought the layout was pretty nice was a bit worried about the manifolds cracking. As said could likely rig up some braces. Not sure how the kit is for install and all that.
As for price that is up to you.

I'm driving one with over 1,000 to the rear wheels, 8.5-1 CR, 408 iron block, Callies crank & rods, Mahle pistons, All Pro heads, etc. Not very street friendly with full boost, have to be over 90 in 5th to hook up & then hang on.
