Those are retail prices too Bob. While final pricing is not set yet, I don't see how they could be any different from the SBC/BBC stuff, as it's exactly the same, just different bolt pattern.

I've tried bolting a SBC bracket to my LT1 in my car, and the bracket would bolt on, but it was only about 3 inches away (in front of) the strut tower. I really don't see why it would be any different with the LS1.

Someone needs to get one and see if an F2 with that setup will fit in an 4th gen f car.

My guess is the hood is gonna be beating all over it, but I'd be very intrested to see.
Try more like 2000hp+

If you cant make that with a 427-440 fire your engine builder and cylinder head/intake porter.

with just the ALT and a motor plate I think there's gonna have to be some custom type of ALT mount probably done, might have to move it to the other side of teh car or something, maybe even redo the motor plate, but that is still cheaper/easier then putting the jakes setup in the car.

This setup is geared towards a blow thru carb, or an EIF/single plane setup, can ya do it without an intercooler? Meth/wather injection, something along those lines?

I'm trying to keep this as simple as possibe, I need to keep the car EIF unfortunately, if it weren't for that I'd carb it on alky and call it a day, but that's just not an option for what I want to do unfortunately.
blow-thru with good fuel is similar to an intercool as the fuel provides the cooling charge. Alky and blow-thru is the optimum way to make MAX power out of any FI setup without an intercooler.

No doubt that alky is a great way to go! Bob

Yeah with a carb I'd have absolutely zero hesitation to run alcohol and boost with no intercooler.

Problem I have is that one race series I want to run requires EFI, and EFI and alcohol is a totally different animal, will require 16 injectors for sure, and has alot more maintenance requirments for the fuel system from what I understand, making it alot less pratical then going alcohol with a carb.

Those are retail msrp prices...expect to pay about 10-15% less through most distributor/dealers.

The main problem i see with the system is the direction of the intake. Besides that its sweet. Coming up with an unrestricted (ie. no short radius bends/u bends) would be a problem. Depending on the chassis, running the intake to the cowl might be a good option.

What clearance issues did you run into? It looks like the washer fluid reservoir is gone.

This isn't one that we are doing, it is a picture that I was sent from one of the guy's at ProCharger. They have the intake figured out with a tube routing over towards the engine to a filter. The good news is that it clears the shock tower!!! Bob

I'm talking from experience here... trust me!

Yes, I read all of them. Here are your only two you mention about fitment:

Thinking impies that you are uncertain.

Apples to apples and oranges to oranges.

If you believe it doesn't fit say, "This bracket for the LS1 will not fit in a 4th gen."
