Maybe should have a Procharger in there.

Tell them to stop messing around and send you the 10-rib stuff. It's a waste of time with the power you're looking for. Build looks great though, hopefully you won't have to change stuff around for the 10-rib too much. I bet you won't break 7psi with the 6-rib before you start having slippage.
Maybe I missed it - what's the static CR?

how much boost do you want to run? when i ordered my 2300 they told me the from drive system would only be good to 10 psi. So they recommened the rear drive set up with the carbon shaft on the side. this way you can put overdrive gears in the back to spin the blower faster for larger engines. BTW its going on my 408 seeing as yours is a 403 i dont no how much boost different there will be. Keep in mind boost isnt everything...its the power you want IMO.

I tried to talk the into a ProCharger, but their customer was set on a positive displacement supercharger.

The engine is in the 9.0/1 range.

I'd look at an ATI 10rib belt setup if you want to spin that sucker up.
There is a guy making 11psi with a 3.0" pulley on a 2300 in a TBSS with the LS2 on the stock 6 rib. It's killing the belts(slipping) though and he is going with a 8 rib soon.

Bob, I am very familiar with the circumstances behind your build and I must say the numbers you are looking for are obtainable. When the customer originally communicated with our company about his H2, he did not mention what his plans were and we did not have an H2 system available....hence the few fitment issues that you encountered.
The above have been worked through and now we can work through this situation as well. By my estimations the TVS 2300 in its current configuration will only get you approx 12-13 psi with the bigger 10 rib balancer and the 2.9 pulley on the blower. This will get you CLOSE to your target HP goals but will fall short, unfortunately.
I am open to offering the customer a FULL refund as long as the supercharger is in perfect working condition and use the refund toward the MPP version of the TVS 2300 with the jackshaft and cog set up. The set up we are proposing you use is more aggressive and has more potential in boost than the direct drive set up. We have seen pressures in the 20+ psi range on a 408, and HP numbers pushing.....Yes, I am going to say it..... 1000 HP, time and time again.
Pictures so you can see what I am talking about:
Bob, Please give me a call to discuss this further so we can get the project rolling again and move on to making HP. I know your company is more than capable of making this work, and I am more than willing to work with you on it. There will be some slight fabrication required for the air intake between the air box and TB, again...this is NOTHING you are not capable of....your track record is stellar.

Side Note** there are some people that are "hellbent" on the continuous bashing of the Magna Charger TVS system. Sadly these "hellbent" people will never see the true potential of the supercharger due to their inability to accept something new. This is truly a shame.

Hey I am waiting for it is all. The reason I get going on it is the continued recommendations to put little 112's and 122's on big engines, like 408's, 427's and the like. Then saying you just have to spin them to the moon and turn them into a heat pump. I love the 122's on 4.8's and 5.3ls and just don't see the 2300 being stellar at 1000hp. I know you could probably do it with a engine that already makes 700hp and add 15psi to get there but that is not impressive to me.
Prove me wrong with a 550hp engine that makes 1000 with only 15psi. Or even a 400hp engine that make 800 at 15-17psi.
BTW my customers know the potential of the 122 on 5.3l's I just will not recommend trying to make 800hp with one on a 6l or bigger engine. We have one on a l33 at 14psi and it does well making about 600hp (520whp). Turn it up higher and the IAT's get out of control at the dunes with constant beating. Also it does have one hell of a heat exchanger set up. I have recommended to him trying the 2300 but I do not expect it to make 20+psi and 750whp+ with out the same thing happening, by that I mean diminishing returns. He too would like well over 800whp.
