I asked a similar question because mine is down around the damper and I live in rainy conditions. I was concerned about taking in water during idle or vacuum conditions thinking that the valve is open. Someone said he thought the blower created enough flow to prevent this. I ran it back to the cold side.

you have a wastegate on your blower setup huh?

I think they call them bypass valves. Vacuum hose connection. Closed during boost. No provision for limiting boost.
