Default Twin Turbo VS. Single Turbo?

I have been wondering why some people decide on the single turbos when you can get a CAS twin a little cheaper.(no offence to rob and the qmp single turbo). I was thinking that a twin system with 2 smaller turbos(like a t34 supplied with the CAS kit or an upgrade up to like a 48 or so.... with the option of up to 2 t60's availble) would spool up quicker and be more effecient at the same time. Correct? or not? IF so why choose a single setup?

It's not the twin vs single argument...it's the cas vs others argument. Cas has the only twin kit out now but some have had problems with that company.

Good luck getting a CAS twin-turbo system or anything else from that guy.I strongly recommend you do some research on the GN boards before you shell out any $$$$.

Ditto on what Dave said, good luck getting a whole CAS TT kit in less than about 7 months. If you want twins I'd hunt down an Incon kit.

I hunted down an Incon! and found a WHOLE car and I was gunna buy just the car for the turbo system but it SOLD LAST WEEK--- Cool28's car. The chances of finding one for sale are almost hopeless, I could order the CAS kit now and have it installed and probably have blown a motor or TWO up before I could find a Incon system.

So I just wanted to compare the single and the twin to see what I would have to settle for b/c I might HAVE to go single... or direct port nitrous(s/c's is no exactly my cup of tea).

If you can get threw to CAS( Tony) and make a date with him, take him the car, and stay there for a week or two, I would say he will have the car up and done. That is what he did with my car, It took 11 days soup to nuts, and it has been great.
But single vs twin, to me is more personal prefrance. They both have goods and bads.

I was kind of looking for the pros and cons of each.

I have talked to Tony through a couple of emails and I liked his knowledge. I didn't really want to take the car to them b/c that is a LONG way for me, so I wanted to buy the kit without programming and fuel system(going to do a custom one) and just have the parts shipped to me.

That could take a while and it also could have fitment issues. But My opinion is bring it. It was a 20 hour ride for me, and worth it!!
