More out of curiosity than anything...
I'm talking stock block...stock sleeves, stock deck (not trussed like an ERL modified block)
Best ET/Trap?
Most HP (if recorded, though trap speeds & weight give a good indication)
I believe its probably one of the Ohio Boys based on elapsed time...
Mark Kohler (BlwnTA) went 8.06 @ 175 with a best mph of 175.43 (fastest I could find from him on a search)
we went 8.25 @ 181.35 this past week

Its always fun pushing something to the limit
LS2 blocks are light and can be found used for ~$500 making them that much more appealing

I know that Mike and Steve ran both the cast iron block and cracked it and then also tried the stock LS2 but they cracked those as well. I'll find out at what power level that happened.

Is that the 500ci LS2 you are talking about? They made 900 something to the wheels on a 200 shot of spray I was reading in the recent Chevy High Performance Mag.

We have 2 different Superdeck products. Superdeck 1 and Superdeck 2. Mike, Steve and Mighty Mouse all use our ERL Superdeck 1 "6 bolt" LS2 427 blocks in their set-ups. Our ERL Superdeck 2 is our 500 CI LS2 that S.A.M. has had in their car now for 3 years and yes it did 922 hp and 905 ft lbs on a 250 shot of spray.

you all can follow this link to our video section of our website and click on "Browse All Videos" then scroll down until you see "interview with Dave Childress". He explains his set-up in the video. Just ignor the goofy guy behind the microphone.
