***I messed up they are 6265's***
I have a pair and I'm building a setup, but I'm looking for a power number to help my converter guy to setup the converter.
Is anyone running these turbo's in a twin setup? What do you think? How soon does the boost come in? What is your setup?
Thanks,
Frank

That is always the case with small displacement motors. Supra's make 1300+rwhp on boost only with a GT47-88 from Garrett. That same unit struggles to break a 1000rwhp on a V8. Efficiency is the key!!

Not sure how much of a help I can be but, I run two precision 67mm turbos on a 346ci setup running 11.5psi for now. I ran a 233/237-.649/.598-112lsa which isn't supposed to work well for boost. I run a 3 inch dual exhaust with no mufflers. AFR205's. My boost would come on really hard at 4500ish rpms. Not sure what would have happened if we would have swapped around camshafts. Either way, I was very happy with how the car ran,..and how strong it was. I ran a manual and without a roadrace tire or a drag radial 11 pounds would overwhelm the tires at any speed. ANy speed. I think you'll like the turbos, and they'll support plenty of power.
On 11.5psi and stock compression on 93 octane, 12 degrees of timing, 787/696 were the numbers. Take a little away for the auto/converter and hopefully you'lll have a relative idea.
Pulls were shut down at 6000rpm,...at 5500 fuel pressure would drop.
Not sure how much that helped.

I'd guess 1200ish max with a large t4 hotside. I have quite a few guys making 700+hp, 2L's using a single 62, and couple guys have breached 800.
The car he's referring to is Mike's @ AWD. The car has some weight taken out of it. Take the slicks off and put some DOT's on and it's a legitimate street car.

Thanks for the input guys! Very helpfull. I think I'm going to go conservative and tell the converter guy it will make 650-700ftlbs. I'm getting pretty pumped about puting this combo together!
