Truck manifold alternative...
Any of them. The beauty of the truck manifolds was they put the turbo in front for easy plumbing. If you are trying to get the most out of a setup you would be hard pressed to beat the truck manifolds let alone for the money. They are cast iron so they will hold up and retain heat to the turbo better than damn near anything, they are cheap and easy to find, and the install is pretty simple to fab from. As long as you don't mind losing the AC it's a great option. If you don't want to lose the AC then you will really want to look at getting some turbo manifolds like APS has to fab from or go the cheapest easiest lower performance rout and go rear mount. Rear mount is absolutely not the best but it will do enough for most DD cars from what I've see.
That they do. Also I read somewhere that you can use a C6 manifold on the passenger side and if you are creative you can get under the AC compressor and then meet up with the truck manifold in the middle but I haven't seen any good pics of this to see how well that would work.

If they just look then you can just shove a tube through them and weld it up so it looks like there is a car but in reality it's a smooth run... or just gut it, either way. I don't think there is a carb certified turbo kit for our cars.
The C6 vette manifolds for the LS2's and LS3's are kind of like old ram horn exhaust manifolds. They dump in the center. They do have a slight backward angle to them when installed normally. There is a guy on the LS2GTO board that is using them pointed forward for twins. I'm also going to do the same thing.
The Ohio boys have also gone 200mph+ with truck manifolds.... so I'd say they work. They also fabbed up some tubular headers and didn't see any improvement.....
Not saying other stock cast manifolds don't.... but those are certainly proven time and time again.
