On the corvettes I run extensions over the top of the tunnel plate so the o2 can be changed fairly easily.

That is correct as long as the parts are within the warranty period and the parts are returned to APS at the owners cost. Our warranty does not cover any freight costs involved.

Cheers,

C6 or C5? The C5's O2 placement is just behind the turbo's, nothing to run above the tunnel plate. Next time I'm in there I'm going to put extensions on and attach them forward of the bell housing since I'm running a LS3 pan now and have some extra room. That's IF we keep the O2's on in the first place seeing as how lazy they are with the positioning.

I finally showed my wife this post to prove i wasnt the only one that got screwed by APS and that i just didnt spend ANOTHER $2800 on top of the price of this APS kit for performance gains. LOL We were also talking about how lucky we are owning a tree service where i can come up with extra money once in a while for emergencys like this and how its really fucked up for ((ALOT)) of that others that work for a hourly rate and have saved forever from of every paycheck to buy this APS kit and to now have their turbos **** themselves or worse,,,,,,,paid a shop to boot to install this kit, because either not mecanically inclined ?or no time to self install and now there rides are down with no other options out there but to spend another $2800 plus install !or to just pull their kits and sell em? Im sure theres alot of guys in this boat that are just sick to there stomach !

Default Chinese Manifolds

Here is the reply I received from the Chinese manifold manufacturer....

Dear Chris Crawford,
Good Day!
Many thank for your kind inquiry and it's our desire to do business with you.

We are professional manufactory of making exhast system, our products ranged includes Exhaust Manifold (casting and beld welding), Header, Downpipe, Catalyst Converter, Muffler, Endpipe and accessoried like silicone hoses, flanges, clampes, intercooler etc.

All the Exhaust Manifold we sold is designed by our clients, they provide the sample or drawing and we make R&D, so I don't know what's the application it for. And we can not sell them to other clients.

And if you can provide the drawing or sample, we can make R&D for you, and also the product is belong to you which means we won't sell them to others.

If anything I can do for you, please be free to contact me.

Looking for your reply and have a nice day!

Best Regards

If you are serious about doing the manifolds, id look into making them in the US. The shipping cost on them alone has to almost double the price of a set of them and you easily come out ahead if you take that out of the equation.

However, without the whole kit I just dont see anyone making money just by doing the manifolds. Youve got to get the whole enchilada out there for people to play.

Guys this is such a shame to see this man once again destroy his reputation , cause i really like the design of this TT kit

For what it's worth, he burnt his bridges many years ago in Australia and was disowned from the Ozi LS1 community.

His attitude and his inferior Unichip got him in trouble back then.

I tried to talk to him about a year ago and he brushed me off like i was nobody once he realized i was in Australia.

He was rude and arrogant to say the least.

For technical advise he pointed me to a shop in Australia that is a laugh in the performance community and has the reputation of blowing stuff up in order to learn!

Peter , when will you ever learn . . . .
