I say keep your money in the US. He avoided most of the valid questions. BBB

Very good point Josh

Peter call it where it is with your above quote. You generalize the **** out of that comment. I for one have never sold sub par turbo or shafted a customer. That would make me far superior to APS. I happen to be a US company. If you are pointing out one company in general make it known...

Otherwise, lay it on the table. Fix your issues. Man up and take the hit. Quit dodging the bullet. Freight is the costs of the buyer... That is a load of BS being you sold them the setup...

So, somebody provide their aps manifolds, get someone to cast them here in the US

Make them have an actual T3 flange and have the flange angled to better fit gt35R's.

I called them twice today couldn't get an answer... I hope they can help us... And please give and update when you here back from them... Well worst case we shouldn't be looking at more than $600 per turbo, hell that's cheaper than $2800

I'm not sure exactly when you called but as you probably know APS is in Australia and is a few hours ahead of us.

While I have had no major problems with my APS kit it is obvious that if I did APS would do nothing to back up their product.
If this thread is first time you've seen Peter post - this is nothing new. He is always like this; won't answer any real questions, flippant attitude, etc. He's a waste of a skin.

Just for the guys that are interested, it is possible for APS to produce bolt on Garrett GT 35 based ball bearing turbochargers with a 1.06 A/R turbine housing.

Cheers,

Why don't you go and get involved in another thread............you don't own an APS product.............surely your time is better spent elsewhere.......... I'm trying to do something here to help out our customers who want larger higher quality ball bearing turbochargers.

This thread greatly interests me! I am VERY happy that I strayed from purchasing an APS setup and went with a NA/nitrous route.
I am in here to see where this thread leads for multiple reasons as are others.
HOPEFULLY you saying that you are trying to actually help is a true statement as it would GREATLY improve my outlook on APS as well as yourself.

As for this post, it is one of the best posts I have seen from you yet! You acknowledged more than 1 post back to back as well as made a more precise instead of a VERY vague post as you have been doing!

Didn't think I would see this in this thread but, thanks!

I just thought about this some more this morning and we do have the capability of producing a bolt on GT series turbocharger if there's enough interest from F body owners. I am actually trying to help out the APS twin turbo guys with a true bolt on ball bearing option though it may prove to be too expensive for the F body market. Only time will tell,

Peter, I know you did this on the C5's, was is the same scenario there too, just bolt up a GT35R, or did it require a downpipe/wastegate pipe revision at the flange?

APS developed a GT 35 bolt on for the C5 twin turbo system though we never released the product. I can't remember now if we needed a new down pipe or not (I think not from memory), I'd have to go into engineering files to find that information.

Seems like many people expressed interest in a twin GT35r system from the start. My guess is at least half of the kits sold would have likely been optioned with them even if it was a couple thousand more.
