Peter, you could learn a LOT about customer service from one of the other sponsors here.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...clutch-co.html

That is customer service. They admitted a problem and fixed it. Had you actually adressed some of the little concerns that came up regarding your kit you would not be getting dragged through the mud here. Too bad, so sad. That is the path you chose. For the most part I am happy with my kit. But after this am not at all impressed with your company or you as a person. You guys could have and should have handled things differently. I have dealt with other companies that will work with the customers regarding shipping faulty parts back. And will adjust the price on new parts (if something required replacing) to compensate the customer for their trouble.

For the record I was one of the first on this board to have my car tuned and driving and I think I have the highest mileage on the kit. As of today over 24,000 miles on the set-up in 2 years on the car. And I have never spoken badly of the kit or the company. However, I feel I can no longer show my support to anyone interested in any of your kits or components. And that is too bad. My car gets around and I field TONS of questions on the kit, how it drives, etc.

Stupid question that I caught and didn't see an answer for through about 10 pages.

If they stopped making kits 8 months ago for "American Muscle cars" then why are they still a sponsor...??? That just doesn't add up.

Can I make a suggestion? There is a Sponsor Feedback Section. have every single person go in there and create a new thread complaining about how the turbo's are not "as advertised" and how the inlet piping is not "as advertised". Have every person whose been bitten go on all the forums they belong to and make their own thread about how they were given the bait and switch.

It's unreal to me how this piece of **** "sponsor" can taunt the members and throw all the bullshit up in their face and not be banned!

I think it is over for APS, this is why Peter doesn't care what you say since they are out of business but they already have your money. If APS has a lot of business then I am a Billionaire.

I don't think I would go as far as saying that APS products are shitty and wasted money. They do have little problems that are easily remedied. The main problem is the trash turbos. Everybody that read my first post knows the exact reason I purchased a kit, for a good starting point for my own kit. Luckily I got a good deal on it, I couldn't imagine how mad the guys are that bought the kit after the initial pricing.

I also wouldn't go as far as saying LS1Tech is rotten. This thread could have easily been locked and erased right off the bat, but it wasn't. From what I've heard sponsors pay quarterly. If APS is still a Sponsor on October 1 something will definitely be up.

I've been keeping my eyes on Monster Clutch Co. since I'm waiting for them to release their double disk clutches. That thread really surprised me. I was thinking about linking that to this thread so APS could see. I doubt they wouldn't even click the link. I remember reading your build thread way back when, I still look over it time to time.

Like I said above, when October 1st rolls around we'll know what's up.

Banning them really serves no purpose. The best thing to do is make them a Sig file which states there are multiple issues with their business (a sig file that the user can't edit), and link them to this thread. The admin just ahs to create a special user group that allows him to log on and post, but not edit his user CP.

My car club did that to Big Jelly of APE fame a few years ago. He still logs in once and a while and it shows a picture of him behind bars as an avatar, and that he is on trial for fraud and he can't change it.

I could only see letting them come on if they were going to address all the issues and fix there problems. It is well known that they won't based on every single post from APS and who else is working there. I have dealt with a lot of **** bags and seen quite a few places go under. This is how it starts. The turning point is when there is how they handle the problem. Every Co. Is going to have ups and downs. It's how they handle it. People make mistakes but when the shop doent answer question, give half truths, lies and steals?! That's where the tables turn.
As far as APS saying "well at least we sent the kits". That's a load of ****. I don't know about anyone esle but if I we to buy a set of Okleys from a sunglasses store and got the cheap Mexican made Fokleys, I would take my money back! I would let everyone in the world know that they sold me **** knock offs! Then ask for my money back paid in full, when they don't pay I beat the ******* **** out of them take all there money and give it to the others that have been ripped off! If he has no money on him I take his address that's in his wallet, **** up his house then find his car and make it look like a smashed tin can.
He has the audacity to knowingly screw people over then give them a line of **** about sending it back to them so they can inspec the knock offs?! This theard is done, he is done.
He needs to be stipped of his sponsor status! He should not be permitted to post anything on here. He is not trying to clear his name at all and help out his costumers. If they chose to do so they can post it on there web site. After eveything is cleared and they righted the wrong then they can come back. Till then they need to be gone!

My 2 sents. I glad I'm not a cop, because people like this would make me lose my job! The laws that are put into protect us end up protecting the criminals! I am glad that when I was overseas as a Marine Infantymen with 3/1 2nd plt. India Co. We could take care of **** bags like this with one little .223 round! It saves all the paper work and pain in the *** paying for a the lawyer fees and then letting this guy do it again. People that do this will always do it till they die or are close to death. Trust me on that one.
I am glad I didn't go APS and got my F1R! All of this was because of all the **** my friend tomz28 went through with his tt sys. Tom is a good friend of mine here in so cal. I also work at CMS and have for quite a while. (they are the sponsor on the right). I go to a lot of car functions and will make sure I tell every person that is looking for a turbo about this this thread!
