LS2 APS w/ lg turbos

im moving from socal back to MI in 35 days so i have alot going on
i was told the crank was good but as we all know its not running. so ive got alot of BS about this from people i will not say who. but i got **** is what its looking like until i prove it any other way and the only way to do it is to take the crank out get the wheel put on right, and then see what it happens when we go to start it
but i got the truck and im waiting for the right time and place to take it all apart send out the crank and put it back together. im going to take my time. and its not happening any time soon
p.s. dont buy a engine used from anyone but friends no matter how good you think it is

Where in MI are you moving to? We'll have to meet up and check out the cars once they are back on the road. Mine is going into storage on Sunday and the trans and turbo's are coming off for some freshening up over the winter. Good luck on the move man. Look me up when you are around.

man, that sucks tom, sorry about all that bad luck brother. At least it will get done in time. Just be slow and methodical about it. Ill be looking out for that 1000~ RWHP Dyno sheet!

The APS Curse stricks again ! lol I KNOW IT ISNT FUNNY TOM, BUT I ACTUALLY THINK ITS THE APS CURSE!
My 35th LE Aps turbo has really been down for 3 years now LOL After first putting in the new forged engine in the spring of 08 i had a bad (Be cool )rad leak coolant into my brand new stage 3 Rossler tranny, that fucked me for that year then had to get it rebuilt over the winter while i installed my S60 rear and some other stuff only to finally got it tunned this year to only have the turbos go LOL Dont feel bad my man your not alone!

feel your pain man. in the last 2 years my camaro, my DD, has been broken for prob 18 months. every time i put it back together something else breaks. this time it was the brand new Performabuilt lvl 2.
stick with it, if theres anything somebody can do, post it up. You never know when somebody gets lucky and decides to pass it on in a big way. there are some awsome dudes out there and it is the season......

(Heres some good news for your thread Tom!)
I finally got my 35th LE APS all put back together with my new BMR APS K member and mechanical scavanging pump with my new LG turbos. I just fired it yesterday and everthing looks and sounds great !First time in 3 years that i actually fired it without smoke coming out of the exhaust LOL I definatly can hear a differance in the turbo wine too These babbys sound mean as hell when compared to the junk APS's.I just gotta wait till spring now to get it all re alighned and retunned. I also took out the stock 7 psi springs and boost controller and installed the 10 PS1 springs this time around and used the Evans coolant and thermistate this time around to keep this baby EXTRA cool this summer and to help pull more heat from these new turbos LOL
