few updates...

started figuring out the hotside...need to put the motor back in the car to fit everything though...its gonna be a tight fit I think



my tig welding is staring to get better I think

Are you still looking for a plasma cutter? I live in Rising Sun and I am pretty sure I was in the same welding class as you. I have one you could borrow if you still need it.

your tig welding is fine for not having a bunch of table and jigs setup to weld on.... you'll find that if you weld this stuff very ofter you'll make a table with all sort of arms and clamps on it to hold your work so you can get "comfortable." being comfortable is the key to a good weld.

I do the best I can with spring clamps to give me a place to rest my arm/hand...

no sense in building fixturing for a one-off kit

sorry to pester. but what mearge are you going to use? also that t6 flange did you buy it with that lip for bolts or did you make it?

cone engineering dual 2.5 into single 3.5" collector for the merge. Run 3.5" into the T6 flange.

its a racepartssolutions flange...its has the mounting flange integrated.

i wasnt implying that... i was getting to point of saying alot of the welds you see that are "pretty" are done on a bench or table that has been welded on for years and has all sorts of home made clamps and holds and so on... meaning that they are comfortable welding on that table in almost any position... its just time...
