Imo, when it comes to the "LS" engine, Kurt and Shawn are at the top of the mountain. So if they are working together . . . . . . . .watch out, somethings going down !

so I bought some of the paint I wanted to try...its the summit branded BC/CC paint. (rebranded kirker). Stuff shoots pretty nice...I've shot Dupont and PPG before...

So as a test, I painted the back bumper to see how it layed down. The color is called Carbon Fiber Metallic. Its actually a bit darker than it shows in the pictures

probably a month to 6 wks before I get to the rest of it...I need to finish up the fabwork in the engine bay. This was more of a test to 1. see if the paint layed nice, 2. see if I liked the color...

I wetsanded out some imperfections, buffed those areas and put my customized wing supports, push/pull switch grommet, marker lights and tag back on...I call the rear bumper pretty much done!

looks good! What gun did you use to shoot it? Guess you go ahold of a buffer. Mine is still available if you need it.

used my sharpe titanium T1 HVLP gun that I bought a few years ago...it does a decent job for a midrange gun...

still needs some buffing by machine...
