4.79 is the class record with #2 being 4.81.
With that being said you can make a competitive car that runs 4.90's all day and high 4.80's on a good day win at a lot of these races. Not all the tracks in X275 are going to be at SGMP where Duck has the track set on kill.
That being said 4.70's-4.80's is hauling *** at 3400#'s with a LF88.

man I step away for a while and like 10 pages go by, along with a destroyed top end, madness! Brian I think if I was you id have probly sold it, hell i though about selling mine after my tranny gave up the third time in 18 months. Props to your sitting on it for a year because the only reason I kept mine was knowing that I would always want another, and didnt want to start again from scratch.
It still turned out to be a beautiful car and certainly ran like a scalded cheetah!

Brian I stepped away from mine in 2009... and am slowly getting back to it. Trust me it's alot less stressful.. and it will be done when it's done, I'm not on any time frame with it.
Overall it's allowed me to get alot of other stuff done, get ahead with the house, etc. Never a bad thing to step away for a little bit... as long as the car is still in the garage you aren't out of it.

Sad to see it go Brian, but I understand where you're coming from with that decision.
I "had" a car that would have worked for ya before it went in for a 25.3, which is being done right now.
If it doesn't sell, maybe you should look at a simple, 8.50 setup to put in it. I mean it's alot more car then you need for that but 8.50 index @ cecil is a pretty decent class, put a 29.5 slick on it with a small, simple motor with a small turbo since you already have all that stuff in there and just run that. Hell you probably can put a simple hyd. roller 370 in the thing with a standard off the shelf head, all standard off the shelf parts and run sub 8.50 with that car with an 80mm or so on it, and it probably will last a long time doing that. Trans and the car itself will never get worn out at that speed, probably can just fuel it and check the tires and go...
Be a cheap way to be able to continue with the car. Probably cheaper then selling it and putting something budget minded together, and probably easier being you already have the whole car there.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I'm sorry to see you selling it Brian, I've followed you build since it was at tysons for the original turbo kit. If I didn't have the car I have now I would buy it. It will save someone a hell of a lot of money. I know I would have.

Sucks to hear you are selling the car, but I understand how expensive they can get.... (my kids will probably never go to college after this round of upgrades)
Hope you get something and make it out to the races next year.

Sucks to see you put it up for sale Brian! Hopefully you get something else to play with as soon as it sells........ Someone will get a very nicely engineered chassis for their money for sure.
