It is safe to say that belt slip problems are a thng of the past for C5 / C6 owners thanks to the Cartek Flip Drive v2. We were able to acheive 110% of the max rated blower speed on my ProCharger F1R without slippage utilizing the Cartek Flip Drive 2 and the Dallas Performance C6 10-rib pulley kit. Congratulations to Max at Cartek for taking Corvette supercharging to the next level with an excellent product. You can view the build details in My Garage.

We are using an abraisive coated Riecart (sp?) blower pulley. Eight ribs may have worked with my F1C, but it took every bit of the 10 rib to spin the F1R 110%. I do not think the 10 rib will hold if I was to drop down to a 3.5" blower pulley, so I am stopping at 1000hp. If a six rib does not work, I would just assume go with cog.

Bob, I remember you using the FD1 on Jordan's car. Was it a 8 rib? What size crank / blower pulley's did you use and how much boost did it make?

I had a business trip that conflicted with the Mile, so I let Dallas Performance finish up another customer's car who was planning to participate. It set me back another week, but I was out of town anyway. I would like to run in the spring if I can.

Yes it was an eight rib. We used an Innovators West overdrive harmonic balancer, but I'm not sure if we kept it on there when we went to the Flip Drive. We were swapping pulleys, going between a 4.25 and 4.50. Bob
