Default comp lsr centrifugal cams

Am looking to freshen up my v7 fed 383 ls1 in the near future. Talked to comp cams and they recomended one of their lsr cams. Has any one got any feedback on how these cams perform compared to say their xer series.

I have one of their LSR lobed cams in my LS3. The blower is a TVS. I think they are "bigger" than the duration #'s show. Lift is high compared to what most cams of similar duration spec. Mine is a 219/231 with .610/620 lift on a 115lsa. Idle is more aggressive than what you would expect for the specs. It made 670+ rwhp on 8.5psi with all the bolt ons on a manaul transmission vette. Drivability is good with little or no issues.

We have installed the the 243/259 cam. Havnt done a proper tune yet as needed some bigger injectors, but down low idle is not to bad and street manners are very good.

Yeh is pretty big but has 116 lsa as well. Talked to people at comp and they believed it would be ok so thought stuff it will give it a go. Its exact specs are 243/259 116 lsa. .624/.624 lift. Should have some figures in next week in regards to power and torque.

Vid of it not best sound as i think camera was a bit close.

Mine is in. I'm breaking the motor in NA then adding a turbo after break in. I'm using the 243/247 .624/.624 on a 116. It's not fully tuned yet, but it wants about 30% more fuel (according to my tuner) than my last cam which was a 242/248 .621/.615 on a 111 in a stock LS2 longblock. My new engine is only 9.3:1 compression with ported FAST 90 and 243 heads. So it's flowing more air than my last setup. Same headers and exhaust are being used. Only other change is OTRCAI by Svede and going Speed Density.

Mine ran well and performed well at the track. I never got on the dyno with it and I have since sold it for something a little more Turbo friendly

These lobes are very similar to if not exactly the same as the old Crane lobes. I had much success with a Crane 242/252 on my old 408 nitrous combo. The lift on these lobes is pretty uniform across the board.
